Job Summary:
The Sales Manager at Butterfly Ayurveda will lead and oversee the sales team, driving the overall sales strategy for Ayurvedic products. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales management, a deep understanding of the Ayurveda market, and the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing sales team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives for Butterfly Ayurveda products, with a specific focus on B2B sales and HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering) channels.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize their potential and foster a culture of high performance and accountability in both B2B and B2C segments.
• Actively engage in regular meetings with B2B businesses to understand their unique needs, provide product education, and build strong, long-lasting partnerships.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives, product launches, and business development efforts in both B2B and B2C contexts.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in both segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key B2B accounts, distributors, and strategic partners.
• Provide leadership in the development and execution of effective sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations, catering to the diverse needs of both B2B and B2C clients.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to the sales team to enhance individual and collective performance across various sales channels.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication in both B2B and B2C contexts.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Butterfly Ayurveda products, ensuring comprehensive product knowledge within the sales team for effective representation across diverse customer segments.
• Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary for both B2B and B2C channels.
• Represent Butterfly Ayurveda at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the brand and build relationships, with a specific focus on B2B networking.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the Ayurvedic or related healthcare industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex sales scenarios.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in sales-related technologies and tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team culture.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales.
• In-depth knowledge of the Ayurvedic or healthcare industry is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a sales team.
