The Medical Secretary will perform secretarial duties using specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic, or laboratory procedures. Duties will include scheduling appointments, billing patients, and compiling and recording medical charts, reports, and correspondence.
Greet visitors, clients, and employees with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a positive first impression of our company
Manage incoming phone calls, direct calls to the appropriate individuals or departments, and take accurate messages
Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries
Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference rooms
Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy, organized, and well-presented
Offer information about the company, its services, and provide directions to visitors when needed
Respond to inquiries from clients, visitors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner
Support various administrative tasks, including data entry, photocopying, filing, and other duties as assigned
Maintain security by following company procedures and controlling access through the reception desk
Keep relevant staff informed about the arrival of clients or visitors
