JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position title: Procurement Buyer

Location: Poonamalle, Chennai

Work Schedule: 6 days (can go to 5 but depends on work)

Duties and Responsibilities

Facilitate sustainable procurement initiatives and enhance supplier performance to drive organizational advancement. Foster collaboration among regional categories, manufacturing entities, and cross-functional stakeholders to align with procurement goals.

· Enhance sustainable procurement productivity through negotiation, supplier changes, rebalancing, QVE, Lean & Innovation practices, leveraging tools and applications.

· Monitor, analyze, and report performance KPIs regularly.

· Partner with global and regional categories to develop and implement category strategies, addressing evolving market needs and supporting sourcing and supplier development.

· Maintain and update procurement parameters in various systems.

· Analyze spending budgets, manage procurement portfolios, and monitor raw material price indices.

· Support cross-functional teams in resolving supplier conflicts, invoice disputes, and supply risks while improving supplier performance in cost, quality, and delivery.

· Engage in global, regional, and local negotiations on pricing, lead time, inco terms, payment terms, and contracts.

· Participate in implementing QVE/COS proposals and transfer projects.

· Manage supplier qualifications, procurement agreements, contracts, and legal documentation.

· Collaborate with suppliers to drive co-development, innovation, and 'Green' initiatives.

· Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure sustainable performance.

· Serve as the interface and representative of SE as the 'Supplier Leader' in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with assigned suppliers.

Educational Qualification:

· B.E/ B. Tech

Work Experience:

· 8 to 12 years of experience
