Job description
The role of Financial Accountant entails overseeing the preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards, managing bank and vendor account reconciliations, and ensuring timely submission of financial reports. The position involves coordinating internal and external audits, monitoring cash flow, budgets, and inventories, and managing employee expense reimbursements.
CTC: 6 lakhs per annum Location: Asmoli Unit, Asmoli Responsibilities: Preparing Financial Statements including Balance Sheet, Income & Expenditure Account, Annexures and Notes to Accounts adhering to the accounting standards. Periodic reconciliation of bank & Vendor accounts. Submission of periodic reports to the Foundation as per financial MIS. Facilitate audit of accounts by internal and / or external agencies. Monitor the cash flow, budget, and inventories. Prepare periodic financial statements for the period as defined by the management and the annual financial statements at the close of the financial year Managing Reimbursement of Expenses to Employees Working experience on Tally ERP is a must. Liaisoning with Banks / Auditors / Government Body / Other Organizations etc. Qualifications: CA / Inter is typically required with at least 5+ years of relevant experience. An advanced degree such as an MBA or a professional qualification like CFA may be preferred and can enhance the candidate's profile. Proficient in using financial software, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with the specific industry in which the organization operates can be beneficial. Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and emerging technologies impacting financial analysis and planning. Fair understanding of the business and expected deliveries.
