- Lead the ARAS team to Design, prototype, engineer, test, release and launch cutting-edge perception software stacks for ARAS systems in 2W
- Lead the ARAS team to Design, prototype, engineer, test, release and launch cutting-edge planning & control subsystems for ARAS in 2W
- Lead the ARAS team to Design and Development of implementable Camera / RADAR based features enhancing the vehicle intelligence
- Support with existing & upcoming projects with control system software used in ARAS subsystems
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the ARAS team for Research, design, implement, optimize and deploy deep learning models that advance the state of the art in perception and control for ARAS & core subsystem
- Develop state-of-the-art algorithms in one or all of the following areas: deep learning (convolutional neural networks-CNN), object detection/classification, tracking, multi-task learning
- Design the algorithms from prototype to production - including training on large scale datasets and deploying on a real-time production vehicle solution
- Lead the ARAS team to Design and Develop Automotive Embedded system software, Model based development, software development as per V cycle using Matlab-Simulink, Embedded C,QNX, ROS, PYTHON, RTOS,
- Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Stack development, Android programming meeting HARA and Functional Safety as per ISO26262
- Lead the ARAS team to Develop the sensor fusion and perception software architecture for Level 2/3 autonomous driving systems/ or equivalent ARAS system for 2 wheelers
- Develop concept system design using Hardware architecture and software architecture for a given ARAS feature Support with Vehicle Diagnostics and Prognostics using data analytics
- Perform multi-sensor fusion, 3D-reconstruction and multi-object tracking
- Develop, implement and utilize specific metrics to quantify the performance of object detection and classification algorithms
- Develop and implement Multi-Target Tracking and Data Association algorithms using EKFs and Particle Filters
- Test algorithms in simulation, in vehicle in controlled environment, and ultimately in vehicles in the field.
Required Certification/s:
DFMEA, DFSS, Data Analyst
Completed one project on ADAS systems in vehicle for Automotive OEM
Functional Safety ISO26262 certification is mandatory
Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment - HARA implemented on one Practical Project

Required Knowledge:
- Solid background in Computer Vision and be comfortable with the latest literature in CNNs, loss-functions and development frameworks like Tensor-flow, Keras and Pytorch
- Well-versed in software engineering and tool-chains used for integrating these ML algorithms into a production pipeline
- Experience in one or more of the following areas related to perception for ADAS / AD/ ARAS: optimization, sensor fusion, probabilistic filters (eg particle and/or Kalman filter), sensor processing, computer vision, point cloud processing, sensor registration, sensor calibration, machine learning, deep learning, SLAM
- Programming in C++ and ROS (Robot Operating System), DDS with efficient, clean code techniques
- Strong knowledge of Automotive Networks (CAN, CANFD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, etc) & Automotive embedded system development
- Knowledge on one or more of the following standards: STPA, SOTIF, ISO 26262
- Software testing, SIL, HIL, MIL, CAN/IVN, Rapid prototyping
