UD DSIT DSIT governs the overall Process and IT efficiency within the UD Business. The function drives the usage of common processes, IT systems and infrastructures.
Infrastructure & End User Services Infrastructure & End User Services (EUS) is part of UD IT infrastructure services. Digital workplace technology and Digital Workplace Services is part of this stream.The mission is focused on delivering all key services to all internal and external users.
Role Mission & Context The service area End User Digital Workplace includes Active Directory, Client, Sharepoint, IAM (Identity and Access Management), ISAM, printing and UCC Services (Unified Collaboration and communication i.e. email, messaging and virtual meetings). The main technical components/products are Microsoft-based Active Directory, Sharepoint, Office 365, windows 10, and Saviynt IAM. The role demands Creative thinking and relevant technology, driving digital innovation for all end-user digital platforms.
EUS Architecture is a discipline consisting of developing methodical End User Service related specifications, models, and guidelines enabling efficient development and maintenance of value-add services, digital workplace technical components as well as IT infrastructures. It relies on various IT technologies and supporting tools combined with formal and informal practices within a coherent Architecture Framework. EUS architecture may also address the IT dimensions of Enterprise Architecture.
EUS Architecture covers
enabling IT for End User Digital Workplace through:
- EUS Architect is a professional taking steering and contributing missions in planning, developing, deploying, and maintaining business driven, modern IT Architecture
- Business / end user experience value driven design of a digital workplace, covering services, processes, and IT infrastructures, as well as the logical and physical interrelationships between technical components
- Contribute to IT Long Term Plan based on the architecture roadmap / strategic target, responsible to define and drive within own portfolio scope
- Lead EUS / IT infrastructure services innovations within own portfolio scope
- Actively guide, coach and support service development / enhancement project
- Aligning with UD Trucks IT Security directives and fulfilling the customer demands for information security
Responsibilities - Design and maintain architecture views, models, and target architectures.
- Create architectural description including reasons for architectural decisions and considerations
- Getting an overall business understanding at portfolio / technical component level
- Responsible for architecture in IT solutions with great impact for the business strategic projects or programs
- Up to date with the current IT market and business trends across platforms and/or processes
- Break down the strategic objectives to requirements on the solution portfolio and target architecture
- Key contributor on products, services and/or infrastructure strategies that require complex or advanced conceptualization
- Make strategic technology choices, directly supervising the quality of designs and implementation inside and between components
- Work with improvements, by participation in the development, of the architectural principles, processes, and standards
- Influence, identify and support recruitment of technical leaders into the organization to ensure the appropriate levels of quality on architecture(s)
- Perform validation and approval of Architecture artifacts
- Resolve cross-processes and cross-portfolio architectural concerns
- Secure and support the overall architectural quality
- Have strong leadership qualities, including open and frequent communications at all levels of the organization
- Collaborate effectively with other Architects in UD Trucks and partners to solve cross solutions problem spanning their respective areas and resolve technological disagreement with informed, rational solutions
Preferred Skills and Qualifications: - Strong experience working in the latest Digital workplace technologies Windows 7, 10, 11 and LTSC, Intune, SCCM, Co-management, GPO's, Intune [KS1]
- Office Client / Factory Client
- Solution design knowledge Active Directory, Client, Sharepoint, IAM (Identity and Access Management) Saviynt, ISAM, printing, and UCC Services (Unified Collaboration and communication i.e. email, messaging and virtual meetings).
- Hands-on experience with the main technical knowledge of Microsoft-based Active Directory, SharePoint, Office 365, windows 10, and Saviynt IAM.
- Experience in understanding business and technical requirements and providing solutions
- Proof of concept experience in comparing OEM products and services
- Good knowledge in Microsoft products and licences models
- Good skills in creating solution documentations and technical presentations
- Experience in working with international, global, and multi-national teams
- Experience in outsourced IT Infrastructure and partner management
- Experience and expertise in Digital workplace / End user services with but not limited to the following technologies: Microsoft M365, Collaboration tools and Basic networking knowledge
- Knowledge of Endpoint protection, client VPN and Firewalls
- Experience supporting onsite support of multiple countries.
- Possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or higher from an accredited institution
- 12 to 15 years of Global onsite IT operations and management experience.
- Microsoft and IAM certifications
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Fluent in English relationship management, broader local business stakeholder
