Job Description:
RDA Ventures LLP is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Social Media Optimization (SMO) Manager to join our team at the Pune office. As an SMO Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the online presence and visibility of our portfolio companies across various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute SMO strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic for our portfolio companies.
- Create and manage social media profiles, pages, and accounts for multiple brands, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Generate compelling and relevant content for social media posts, including text, images, and videos, to attract and engage target audiences.
- Monitor social media trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and optimize content and strategies accordingly.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive user engagement and achieve marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align social media efforts with overall marketing and business goals.
- Analyze and report on key metrics and performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on emerging social media platforms, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into our SMO strategies as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a digital marketing agency or startup environment.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends, with hands-on experience in managing accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content tailored to different audiences and platforms.
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools and platforms to track and analyze performance metrics.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-driven approach to achieving objectives.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with graphic design, video editing, or other multimedia content creation tools is a plus.
