Job description
MICE Job description for DMC trade Sales profile:
1- Devise an annual trade sales and marketing strategy through a plan of Sales visits, activations, and budgets to increase the awareness of the DMC in India.
2- Maintain strong relationships with MICE planners within the country and proactively generate a healthy leads pipeline for the DMC.
3- Consistently seek and develop opportunities for business with new trade accounts.
4- Close leads by liaising efficiently between the MICE planners and DMC office.
5- Ensuring the sales target are met and strive to exceed them.
6- Maintain a healthy conversion ratio of leads.
7- Be updated with market information and trends, competition products and developments.
8- Seek avenues for collaborations on Fam trips, participation in roadshows and workshops with Tourism Boards, hotels and airline partners from the destination.
9- Consistently engage with trade partners through platforms on social media and share relevant product updates.
10- Weekly, monthly and annual update and performance reporting.
11- Participating in trade fairs such OTM, SATTE etc. on behalf of the DMC.
12- Collaborate, pitch-in and support on other products of the company whenever required.
