The Global Supplier Management (GSM) organization is at the heart of Ciscos #1 supply chain. We are an elite team who take on the hardest challenges (like the global supply shortage crisis) and work together in a fast-paced environment backed up by a strong environment to solve those challenges.
GSM is part of Supply Chain Operations and is responsible for sourcing and costing activities from a Manufacturing perspective. The GSM team ensures continuity of supply, quality and develops the commodity strategies for the hundreds of products that Cisco manufactures. The team maintains close relationship with component suppliers and strongly collaborates to consistently drive innovation, productivity, and efficiency.
