Job Overview:
The E-commerce Platform Executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our company's presence on various e-commerce platforms including Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and DIY platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce operations, product listing, marketing strategies, and customer engagement. This role requires a proactive individual who can drive sales, enhance brand visibility, and optimize the performance of our products across multiple online channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage product listings on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and DIY platforms, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and pricing. Develop and execute effective marketing and advertising campaigns to increase product visibility and drive sales on e-commerce platforms.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, and ROI, to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in e-commerce to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development to ensure alignment of e-commerce strategies with overall business objectives.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, reviews, and feedback on e-commerce platforms to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Implement strategies to improve product discoverability through SEO, keyword optimization, and other relevant techniques.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Continuously explore new e-commerce opportunities and partnerships to expand the company's online presence and reach new markets.
- Maintain compliance with e-commerce platform policies, regulations, and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in managing e-commerce platforms, preferably within the building and construction industry.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, marketplace dynamics, and online sales strategies.
- Proficiency in e-commerce tools and platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub, Etsy Seller Dashboard, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and driving results.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and digital marketing techniques is a plus.
