Job Title : Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Position Overview : Company is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead its financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing invaluable financial insights, driving decision-making processes, and ensuring financial transparency and accuracy. This role is crucial in helping the company achieve its financial objectives and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Insights and Projections :
- Provide strategic financial insights and forecasts to the executive management team to support informed decision-making.
- Develop and communicate financial projections, budgets, and strategic plans.
Data Analysis and Decision Support :
- Provide reliable data, analysis, and financial advice to various departments to facilitate effective planning and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to analyze and report productivity, demand planning, reporting and other financial metrics.
Financial Reporting and Compliance :
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate submission to meet all statutory and management requirements.
- Support the financial audit process to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Automation and Process Optimization :
- Drive the automation and digitization of business processes within the finance department to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
- Implement best practices in financial system design and management.
Benchmarking and Strategic Planning :
- Benchmark technical parameters against global and Indian best practices and implement improvements within the department.
- Participate in long-term financial planning and performance appraisal of the plant operations.
Financial Risk Management :
- Ensure the integrity and financial risk management aspects are integrated into all aspects of the business operations.
- Develop and implement enterprise-level financial controls and risk management strategies.
Qualifications/ skills
- CA qualification required
- 12 - 17 years experience in FP&A functions, primarily in manufacturing plant locations
- Experience in metal manufacturing industry strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of accounting, taxation, commercial finance, and project finance.
- Proficiency in internal and external financial system designs and ability to manage system upgrades.
- Strong experience in enterprise-level financial controls and risk management.
- Exceptional data analysis and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to provide strategic financial leadership and drive financial excellence.
