Job description

The Operations Unit Manager leads and motivates the Operations Unit Team, allocates resources properly, communicates feedback and manages day-to-day operations activities to achieve desired results and offer an unbeatable client service while guaranteeing Rentokil Boecker value of Excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

Rentokil Boecker Operations Unit Manager is held accountable for the below job responsibilities:

Implement the standards set in Rentokil Boecker Operations Manual.

Organize, delegate and follow up assertively on the units tasks.

Develop and motivate unit members by molding, training and coaching them into star performers and cooperative teams.

Build strong relationships and effectively communicate with management, peers and staff.

Continuously improve the units processes and quality output to respect Rentokil Boecker value of Excellence.

Oversee an effective appointment scheduling by all operations officers/senior officers.

Ensure minimum pending appointments.

Evaluate team members and confirm their compliance with Rentokil Boecker policies, standards and regulations.

Perform regular courtesy calls and visits upon an approved schedule by the Operations Manager.

Ensure that chemicals and non-chemical products are always available for the team and are being used efficiently and in proper concentration.

Follow up on clients yearly programs and verify they are being implemented as agreed with the clients.

Ensure that equipment and vehicles maintenance is done as per maintenance policies.

Ensure that technicians dispatching and vehicles routing are being properly arranged.

Execute monthly field raids.

Verify that officers/senior officers respect the caller scripts and communicate properly with clients (email text, phone etiquette, etc.)

Follow up on VIP clients and ensure timely delivery of reports.

Monitor the process of call backs response and solution.

Ensure that clients Unique Buying Points (UBP) are identified and attended for.

Organize monthly professional training for back office and field staff.

Communicate regularly with the Sales Department regarding new, toxic and old clients.

Handle operations reports and discuss them with upper management.

Control data integrity through weekly audits on data entry and operations workflow.

Refer to Operations Manual for detailed tasks of the Operations Officer.

Key Result Areas:

Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Environmental Science, or equivalent.

At least 6 years of experience in operations or relevant fields.

Proficiency in English is a must. Arabic is a plus

Effective decision making and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Remarkable attention to details.
