Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for Motherhub staff, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
- Collaborate with department managers to forecast staffing needs and plan for seasonal or peak periods.
- Employee Relations:
- Address employee concerns and grievances, and work to resolve disputes in a fair and equitable manner.
- Promote positive employee relations, open communication, and a healthy work environment.
- Monitor employee performance and conduct performance reviews.
- Training and Development:
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of Motherhub employees.
- Identify opportunities for professional growth and career development.
- Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including attendance, timekeeping, and HR-related documentation.
- Benefits and Compensation:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits as needed.
- Manage compensation structures and annual salary reviews.
- Health and Safety:
- Collaborate with safety officers to ensure a safe working environment and promote a culture of safety.
- Investigate and report workplace accidents or incidents as needed.
- Employee Engagement and Culture:
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Encourage teamwork and camaraderie among Motherhub staff.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare and present HR-related reports and data to senior management as needed.
- Analyze HR metrics and key performance indicators to make data-driven decisions.
Preferred Skills:
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
- Experience with HR software and systems, including HRIS.
- Familiarity with Motherhub management and logistics software.
