Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce
Position Summary: Litera is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help grow our development team. You will participate in the full SDLC from preliminary system analysis to testing and deployment. This hybrid engineering role includes building high-quality and fully performing software that meets quality and software development standards alongside a great team.

Key Requirements - Salesforce App Builder certification
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
- Good knowledge of development using Aura/LWC framework at a mid-senior level (4+ years)
- Good knowledge of development using Apex at a mid-senior level (4+ years)
- Ability to work with HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Good understanding of design patterns and OOP concepts
- Good knowledge of building and extending REST APIs on the Salesforce Platform
- Good knowledge of SOQL, SOSL and SQL
- Knowledge of source control with Git, especially branching/merging as needed
- Familiar with Atlassian products – JIRA
- Familiarity with agile techniques
- Experience with unit/integration/acceptance tests
Desirable - Salesforce Administrator certification
- Salesforce JavaScript Developer I certification
- Experience of CI/CD (DevOps)
Soft Skills - Develop custom solutions within the Salesforce platform, enabling the support of critical business functions, meeting project requirements and company goals using VSCode.
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment and have a working experience with Agile/Scrum.
- Ability to work independently without instructions on most tasks but would know when to ask for help.
- Develop and write Apex Classes and Triggers as well as test classes for all custom development, adhering to Salesforce best practices.
- Comfortable with recommending which modern software development techniques and methodologies to use.
- Implement and deploy Salesforce metadata.
- Enthusiastic about problem solving, digging into issues, and owning tasks to completion
- Extensive understanding of software development principles (object-oriented design, SOLID, etc.)
- Create good quality Apex Test classed and comfortable using code scanner tools like Checkmarx to analyze and alter code where necessary.
- Experience delivering solutions that scale
