Polymer Catalyst Synthesis- Team Lead
Job Accountabilities · Technically and managerially manage team of scientists for generating consistent and reliable experiments results. · Lead team for a laboratory-scale experimentation/analysis to ensure scientific accuracy and confirm research validity. · Guide teams to utilize advanced analytical software tools and programming languages for analyzing large volumes of data. · Facilitate collaboration with third-party vendors for testing and field trials, ensuring alignment with project objectives. · Ensure appropriate safety protocols and risk mitigation measures to minimize potential risks or safety concerns associated with experimental procedures. · Prepare and present the research findings with stakeholders for their informed decision making. · Lead team for taking corrective actions and implement best practices across different sites/outside company to continuously improve processes and practices. · Review various comprehensive reports, technical papers, and presentations drafted by team members and guide them suitably. · Stay updated with the latest advancements in the energy domain, industry trends, and regulatory requirements. · Contribute to patent applications, intellectual property protection, and technology transfer initiatives. · Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative solutions. · Facilitate regular communication with the management team to provide updates. Skill & Competencies · Skills for using Schlenk line and other technique under inert conditions. · Synthesis knowledge and skills for catalyst in area such as olefins & other polymerization systems · Demonstrated experience for Catalyst synthesis process optimization at proof-of-concept and lab scale for achieving desired catalyst characteristics. · Designing and Synthesis of various organic molecule. · Knowledge of various characterization method /technique of catalyst · Empirical Understanding of catalyst synthesis mechanism and reaction kinetics · Demonstrated experience for taking up research projects and the cross functional collaboration for implementation of products catalyst technology and process optimization.
