Job Description:
- The Investment Strategy and Technology group consist of 5 components. Delivery Platforms (Analytics, Data, Investments), Strategy & Consulting, and Business Operations. Business Operations, Investments Technology provides a central service to the delivery teams, incorporating Governance, Controls, Finance, Business and Vendor Management.
- The role is responsible for managing the finances, MI, vendor relationships, and supporting the Leadership Team in their activities.
- The successful candidate will be experienced in some or all of the following; Managing finances across multiple teams and outsourced partnerships, managing relationships and supplier governance, MI production and presentation, and preparing presentations for various management levels.
- They will work flexibly and against challenging timelines, contribute to thought leadership and drive process improvements, and provide outputs of the highest standard.
Responsibilities:
- Resource planning and producing associated finances, leading continual operational improvements
- 3rd party supplier supervision and relationship management
- Preparing high quality and impactful presentations
- Driving process improvements across all delivery platforms, freeing up capacity for the teams to focus on efficient and effective delivery
- Proactively producing relevant and value-add MI for senior leadership
- Providing quantitative and qualitative assessments relating to MI
- Supporting the Leadership Team in achieving their delivery objectives
Skills & Competencies:
- Vendor supplier supervision and relationship management
- PM approach using Agile.
- Communicating vendor responsibilities and obligations
- Establishing vendor performance standards and suggesting improvements
- Updating, renewing, and cancelling vendor contracts whenever needed
- Ensuring all vendor activities adhere to our company policies
- Conducting research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality.
- Maintain an inventory of all 3rd party applications with correct owner & tiering. Ensure record of all monitoring activities throughout relationship
- Preparing high quality and impactful presentations
- Proactively producing relevant and value-add MI for senior leadership
- Providing quantitative and qualitative assessments relating to Vendor
- Supporting the Leadership Team in achieving their delivery objectives
- Strong Presentation and MIS skills using Power BI is an added skill which will be helpful
- Self-starter with a tendency to behave proactively over reactively
- High ability to challenge the status quo, thinking differently, expressing new ideas and providing an objective opinion
- Ability to articulate problems, ideas, concepts and solutions to stakeholder
Experience Required:
- 7 - 12 years of total experience.
- Exposure of Vendor management & oversight as in reviewing & monitoring vendor performance.
- Creating reports on vendor specs.
- Exposure in handling global vendors & stakeholders.
- Background in a PMO, Business Management, or MI production role
- Understanding of scaled agile methodologies such as Quarterly (PI) Planning
- Financial reporting
- Vendor and/or relationship management
- Producing impactful presentations
- Ideal systems experience: Oracle Fusion & Service Now
