Job Summary: The Area Sales Manager in the automobile industry is responsible for managing a specific geographical sales territory. You will lead a team of sales representatives, work closely with dealerships, and ensure the achievement of sales targets within your designated area.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute sales strategies for the assigned area to meet sales targets.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealerships, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and market conditions within the area.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement local promotional activities.
- Ensure proper product availability and inventory management.
- Resolve customer issues and concerns to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for the area.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities within the area.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Automobile industry
- Proven experience in sales, with a track record of achieving sales goals, preferably in the automobile industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset.
- Knowledge of the local market and automotive products.
- Ability to travel within the designated area.
