Job description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced PR & Social Media Specialist to enhance our agencys brand presence across all relevant mediums.
A little context: Over the last 6 years we put our heads down and kept delivering great campaigns to noteworthy brands. Call it a lack of better sense, or time - we didn’t work on our brand. With a great ecosystem in place, now our Founders are more focused towards creating a buzz about the legacy of work we have done, and share our success with the community.
As the architect of our public image, you will play a crucial role in positioning Walnut Folks Group (including Confluencr and Intent Farm) as a leader in the marketing community through strategic award applications, impactful news and magazine features, creative PR initiatives, journalist relationship management, vibrant social media storytelling and more. This role demands a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, entrepreneurial mindset and a keen eye for opportunities that align with our brands ethos. Your Key Responsibilities would include:
Elevate the agencys visibility by strategically positioning Walnut Folks Group as a leader in the marketing industry through careful selection and application to prestigious awards, securing features in top-tier marketing magazines, and executing impactful PR initiatives (think beyond regular paid PR.. we love free PR!
Collaborate with the content team to produce high-quality, engaging content that effectively communicates our brands values, achievements, and thought leadership. This encompasses writing press releases, award applications, social media posts, and any other content that supports our PR and marketing efforts.
Actively engage with and expand our network within the marketing community, including influencers, industry leaders, and potential clients, to maintain Walnut Folks Groups prominence and relevance in industry discussions and opportunities.
Utilize analytics tools to track, analyze, and report on the performance of PR and social media activities. Use insights to continuously optimize strategies for greater impact and ROI.
