OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB To actively create innovative and well-matched copy towards enhancing the quality of trivia for notebooks produced and establishing Classmate as a distinctive and superior range in the notebook category.
Principal Accountabilities - Producing copy that is in tune with the design as well as product matrix.
- Constantly updating oneself with the latest styles and flows of the language.
- Copy proof reading, and ensuring that all cards produced are error-free.
- Conceptualizing ideas relevant for publication in Classmate notebooks
- Ensuring that the images and content are compliant as per the guidelines of the brand
- Researching a variety of different topics to obtain factual information and the like
- Finding different approaches to the same topic for multiple notebooks in one complete series
- Analyzing the collected information to make it more comprehensible and coherent for the targeted audience
- Creatively framing the content in interesting formats
- Ensuring that the content for publication complies with accepted grammar, style and accuracy
- Liaising with different team members on the choice of images and concepts to be displayed on the product
- Proofreading and editing content written by peers

Qualifications & Experience Ø B.A in Literature from a reputed College /
Ø M.A in Literature from a reputed College
Ø Two to three years' experience in content/ copy writing is preferable
