We provide one-on-one admissions consulting services to applicants to leading undergraduate and postgraduate programs abroad, such as Harvard, Columbia, Stanford and MIT. We also deliver workshops to help parents and applicants gain an overview of key aspects of the application process. Additionally, we offer programs to build key skills that are required in today's global business world, such as leadership, communicating effectively, research, creativity and innovation.

Role Description

This is a part-time, remote position for a Research, Writing, and Editing Specialist. Â An ideal candidate would be a student pursuing a PhD from a top university, who has strong writing and editing skills and a passion for working in the education industry.

They will be responsible for

• Mentoring students through their research papers.
• Proofreading and editing materials such as essays, applications, and resumes.
• Providing writing support to students, which includes brainstorming and guiding applicants to develop unique writing or application themes that effectively showcase their strengths and unique skills.

Qualifications

• Current PhD or MPhil students.
• Demonstrated research experience.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• A passion for mentorship and helping students succeed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, style, and spelling
• Extensive knowledge of writing, editing, and proofreading techniques
• Excellent research skills and ability to write objectively
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently, multitask and meet deadlines
• Experience of 2-3 years in writing, editing, and proofreading fields
