Who are we looking for:
Role: Specialist/ Sr. Specialist Sales- Govt Business
Qualification: B. Tech (CS-IT) / MTech /MCA/MBA
Experience: 4-8 years
Location: Noida (Work from Office- 5 days)
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Candidate must have solid sales background, experience in IT Solutions/Services in the Government space.
- Must be comfortable to travel intensively.
- Should have the ability to work under pressure & Individual capacity.
- Self-motivated, Independent, and confident.
- Should have good account management skills.
- Effective and persuasive communication qualities.
- Excellent written and verbal language skills in English.
- Must exhibit good relationship skills and client management qualities.
- Must have worked on Govt. tender process and documentation knowledge.
- Must have experience of Govt. and public institutional selling experience.
- Should have public relation experience.
- Should have experience in PPP (public private partnership) model.
- This is an Individual Contributor role, and the candidate will be responsible for end-to-end sales.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with various government bodies and departments to identify potential opportunities for IT solutions/services.
- Must have strong, good working relationships with decision makers/GMs/DGMs in PSU/Govt. Accounts in respective regions.
- Should be able to represent the company in meetings with government officials and other stakeholders.
- Ability to identify customer needs and challenges and must have worked with OEMs/Vendors/Partners/ IT consultants in Govt. Accounts.
- Will be responsible for cross-functional coordination with internal & external teams for solution development, government sales, liaising, tendering & bid management.
- Researching, identifying, sourcing, generating, and nurturing new sales opportunities, target identification & classification.
- Developing business opportunities in e-governance.
- Responsible for revenue generation from IT sales.
