Description About this role BlackRock is currently seeking Operations professionals at the
Analyst level to become part of our Global Investment Operations team. The diverse function spans Trading & Market Documentation, Transaction Management, Collateral Management, Payments, Corporate Actions, Cash & Asset Operations, and Securities Lending Operations. It plays an integral role within the organization interacting with multiple internal and external parties to ensure risk is minimised, processes are efficient and high levels of client service are achieved, in what is an evolving and dynamic environment.
Role Description - Manage and ensure timely loan and return settlement across global markets and resolve related issues daily.
- Follow established procedures and perform appropriate controls (including cash, security and collateral reconciliations), while exercising good judgement in managing risk and following escalation procedures.
- Partner with external Service providers like brokers and Custodians to prioritze loan trade settlement across BLK and client portfolios
- Support the continued evolution of the Securities Lending technology platform and global process model.
- Participate in projects as they relate to broader business product and system development, as well as process re-design and improvement.
Experience - 1-3 years of experience in Asset / trade Lifecycle Workflow in Investment Bank or Custodian Organization
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance or equivalent with concentration in Economics & Business Studies preferred
- Basic Understanding of loan trade lifecycle, settlement cycles, SWIFT and fails impact
- Understanding of Asset Management and operational relationships with custodians and brokers

- Ability to multi task
- The ability to perform effectively in an environment of rapid and continual change
