Key Purpose of this role
BiofuelCircle's products and services are used by businesses and individuals in the bioenergy supply chain, including industrial and rural businesses and farmers. The company provides an end-to-end solution for buyers and sellers of biomass and biofuels.
The QA Lead with be responsible for Quality Assurance testing with a functional business perspective, delivering the platform with outstanding quality.
What will you do every day - Partner with Development leads, Architects, Delivery & Support teams to ensure that platform software is tested & delivered to the highest quality
- Bring business context to the QA testing of Platform
- Create Test Strategies and Test Scenarios for rapidly evolving platform features
- Be embedded in the entire product development lifecycle, from design, documentation to roll-out, to ensure that new enhancements provide the require functionality without impacting current features
- Create test automation and leverage modern technologies to speed up quality assessment
- Drive the scrum for engineering teams to ensure quality across all areas of the product
The ideal Candidate Profile ... - You have 5 to 8 years of Functional QA with Enterprise Product Software
- You have dirtied your hands in testing all stages of product lifecycle, through multiple releases
- You have experience in test-driven development in Agile Scrum framework
- You know industry standard Testing Processes & Methodologies
- Knowledge of business processes in B2B, Supply Chain Management/ Operations, will give you an advantage over other applicants
- You are a quick learner, who can work under pressure of tight deadlines
- You think defect prevention over defect identification
- You are at ease writing effective emails, test scripts and use cases that are understood by those who read them
- You can work with cross functional and remote teams
- You take ownership and accountability and don't need a manager reminding of tasks or deadlines
