Job description

Summary/ Objective:

This job is part of the Finance team responsible for MIS and providing analytics and insights into Revenues, costing & other indicators such as AR, AP, etc. A significant amount of this role’s responsibility is aggregating, cleansing, analysis, and representing data from varied sources. The talented individual in this position will develop analytical models while automating reporting and bringing the data visualization by building dashboards for internal/external stakeholders.

Competencies :

1. Excellent knowledge in Tableau/Power BI/Grafana experience or equivalent with data visualization tools 2. Excellent judgment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills; can balance attention to detail with swift execution. 3. Comfortable working with large data sets, complex pivot / data tables, and excel macros and formulae. 4. Good analytical skills, logical and presentation skills 5. Exposure in providing MIS & Analytics to Board & Senior Management 6. Expertise to understand, analyze and summarize financial data with insightful information in a clear concise manner. 7. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, process-oriented, and organized with ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver within tight deadlines. 8. Ability to interact with confidence and handle CXOs/independently. 9. Solid communication and interpersonal skills dealing with people at all levels of the organization.

Roles and Key KPIs:

1. Build comprehensive dashboards that provide a holistic view of key business performance indicators and financial metrics. 2

. Develop interactive reports that allow users to drill down into specific details and explore financial data at different levels of granularity. 3. Set up automated reporting process to streamline the generation and distribution of financial reports daily, monthly, quarterly reporting for multiple business verticals. 4. Integrate data from various sources, including accounting systems, ERP systems, and external databases, to create a unified view of financial information. 5. Monitor big data with Business Intelligence tools, simulation, modeling, and statistics. 6. Aggregate insightful data by sourcing the required information from internal and external sources. 7. Continually refine reporting and analysis processes.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position reporting to Head-Finance, and regular hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Preferred Education and skills: 1. Postgraduates in a quantitative discipline (ideally MBA) from a reputed institution or equivalent. 2. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with minimum of 1-3 years of experience in covering accounting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. 3. Experience working in Parse and manipulating raw data leveraging tools including R, Python, Tableau, with a strong preference for Python
