Position: Senior Educational Counsellor in Overseas Education.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized guidance and support to students and families seeking to study abroad.
- Conduct in-depth consultations to assess students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals.
- Offer expert advice on study options, universities, programs, and destinations based on individual preferences and qualifications.
- Navigate students through the entire application process, including university selection, application submission, and visa procurement.
- Stay abreast of international education trends, admission requirements, visa regulations, and cultural considerations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
- Mentor and train junior counsellors, sharing expertise and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in educational counselling, preferably in the field of overseas education
- Deep understanding of international education systems, admission procedures, and visa processes
- Proven track record of successfully guiding students through the study abroad journey
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students and families from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for managing client relationships and tracking progress
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality
