About this role:
As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the primary responsibility is to provide strategic direction and leadership in all technology-related aspects of the company's operations. This includes developing and implementing innovative technology solutions, managing the company's IT infrastructure, and ensuring the seamless integration of technology across various business functions. The role is critical in driving digital transformation, optimizing operational efficiencies, and enhancing the company's overall technical capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Development from launch to scale · Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy and roadmap in alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives. · Responsible for building integrated customer & enterprise platforms across wealth management, asset management & Broking. · Design and implementing a full wealth tech stack/ infrastructure from launch to scale, preferable in the Indian market. · Lead the research, evaluation, selection, and implementation of technology solutions, platforms, and systems to meet the Company's needs. · Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to asset management, and recommend strategies to leverage technology for competitive advantage. Ecosystem partner and vendor relationship management · Develop and manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and external partners, ensuring effective delivery of services and adherence to contractual agreements. · Oversee the company's IT infrastructure, managed services, Hybrid cloud environments, including networks, servers, databases, and security systems, to ensure end to end observability, reliability, scalability, and data integrity. · Provide Oversight for the development and maintenance of trading platforms, ensuring they are user-friendly, feature-rich, and capable of handling high transaction volumes with low latency. · Provide oversight for the development of client portals and apps to enhance customer experience and ensure that technology solutions provide insightful, real-time investment data to clients securely. Operational management and execution · Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior management, investment teams, operations, compliance, and client services, to understand their technology requirements and provide effective solutions. · Optimize data storage and processing capabilities to handle large volumes of transactions and analytics. · Focus of Enterprise Architecture, Solution Design, Full stack development, DevSec Ops, CICD, API stack, Mobile apps. · Develop and manage the technology budget, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring cost efficiency in technology investments. Risk and Governance · Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive financial data against threats. · Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and data privacy standards, establishing robust security and risk management protocols. · Design and maintain an effective technology governance framework Team and talent management · Drive innovation and continuous improvement, fostering a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the technology team and across the organization. Key requirements: ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Additional qualifications or certifications in project management or technology management are desirable. ● Proven experience in technology leadership roles in the capital markets with a deep understanding of wealth management processes and systems. ● Strong knowledge of investment management industry regulations, such as SEBI guidelines, and compliance requirements related to data privacy and cybersecurity . ● Extensive experience in developing and implementing technology strategies, including cloud computing, data analytics, DevOps, cybersecurity, and digital platforms. ● Demonstrated expertise in managing IT infrastructure, networks, servers, databases, and security systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and data protection. ● Experience in leveraging emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning to enhance customer experience and analytics. ● Strong understanding of software development methodologies, software architecture, and agile project management practices. ● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals and drive innovation within a rapidly changing industry. ● Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build and motivate a high[1]pJob tags
