Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Professor in the domain of Operations and Finance Management at MIT School of Distance Education. The Professor will be responsible for teaching, developing and delivering courses online through a Learning Management System (LMS), conducting research, mentoring students, publishing articles, and providing leadership and innovation in curriculum development. The Professor will also serve on various committees and participate in academic and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching and curriculum development
• PhD in the relevant field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and other online educational tools
• Demonstrated expertise and research experience in the relevant field
• Experience in mentoring students and publishing articles in reputed journals
• Commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service
• Experience teaching in a distance education mode is desirable
