As a Calibration Sales Engineer at WIKA Instruments, you will be responsible for driving sales of our calibration instruments and services. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their calibration requirements. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets
- Identify and qualify leads, and generate new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders
- Provide technical support and product demonstrations to customers
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate calibration solutions
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to customers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the calibration instruments industry
- Strong understanding of calibration principles and practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Willingness to travel as needed
