Company Description Breadtime Stories is an Artisan Breads bakery based in Bengaluru. Specializing in Sourdough, Baguettes, Ciabatta, Focaccia, and other Artisan Breads from around the world, our passionate team aims to share the joy of baking with the rest of the world.
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Baker at Breadtime Stories. The Baker will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with bakery operations, including food preparation, baking a variety of breads, pastries and cookies, and ensuring quality and consistency in the products. Responsibilities Open the bakery early in the morning Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough Bake different bread types, like pretzels, baguettes, sourdough and multigrain breads Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking Mix various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and pies (e.g. chocolate ganache, caramel sauce and fruits) Decorate cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream and edible toppings, like flowers Shape dough to prepare different types of pastries, including croissants, cookies and sweet rolls Track food supplies and place orders, as needed Assist in creating new recipes. E nsure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner. Qualifications Bakery and Baking skills Experience in large scale bread production Experience in Sourdough and Baguettes is a plus 2 to 3 years experience in bread production Experience in food preparation Knowledge of bread and cookie making Passion for creating high-quality baked goods Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work as part of a teamJob tags
