JOB DESCRIPTION – SENIOR TEST ENGINEER Role : Senior Test Engineer Experience : 3-4 Years Skill : Quality Assurance Department : Engineering Location : Hyderabad About The Organization Allcloud is a Tech-Fin, an enabler for Fin-Techs. We build innovative Unified Lending technology for Banks and Financial Institutions to help them scale. Having worked with 500+ Lenders across multiple geographies for 8 years, we have built expertise in Industry Best Practices for Lending. Our domain-specific solution can help lenders manage multiple loan products on a single unified platform.
Responsibilities - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for various software applications or products.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, and acceptance criteria.
- Create detailed and effective test cases based on product specifications and requirements.
- Analyze manual and implement/execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks using relevant tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit).
- Identify opportunities for test automation to improve testing efficiency.
- Report, track, and prioritize defects using a defect tracking system.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure prompt resolution of defects.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or code changes do not negatively affect existing functionality.
- Plan and conduct performance testing to assess system scalability, stability, and responsiveness.
- Create and manage test data sets required for testing activities.
- Ensure data privacy and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Generate test reports and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies and practices.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer, with a focus on manual and automated testing. (Minimum 1+ years of experience in developing/automating software)
- Proven experience in Automation frameworks like hybrid-data driven.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit).
- Proven experience in OOPS programming concepts and REST API testing using tools like postman or swagger.
- Proven experience in integrating test automation scripts with CI.
- Ability in programming languages (e.g., Java/C#/C++) for test automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
