Job description
Responsibilities
- Conduct engineering design reviews, evaluate architectural contractor proposals, specifications, bill of materials, equipment planning for healthcare construction projects from concept to completion
- Undertake bio-medical equipment planning and technical specifications creation for OTs, diagnostic labs, radiology suites aligned to intended clinical services and usage.
- Review infrastructure compliance to healthcare design guidelines, building codes, safety and accessibility norms, statutory body regulations etc.
- Define technical requirements, evaluate bids and support procurement of biomedical equipment and healthcare technologies.
- Participate in project planning discussion, design detail reviews, contractor/vendor meetings and provide engineering expertise.
- Develop maintenance practices, asset management protocols including life cycle analyses for high-value medical equipment.
Support facility management team in commissioning, quality assurance and handover of finished healthcare assets.
Qualifications - Experience:
- Minimum of 10 Years' experience in healthcare consulting or hospital construction projects
- B. Tech/B.E. in Bio-medical Engineering
- Excellent technical knowledge of medical equipment and building infrastructure.
- Sharp analytical abilities and problem -solving skills.
- Ownership mindset to drive hospital construction projects.
