Position Summary:
Business Analyst translates business requirements into functional requirements and approaches for developers & QA. Functioning as an interface between the organisation and the client, Business Analyst bridges the gaps and ensures delivering the products according to the standards. Collaborate with system architect and development & QA leads to document all software changes necessary to meet the requirements project request
Responsibilities:
  1. Business Analyst with over 5 years of experience supporting business solution software and analysing business operations in U S Healthcare domain. Domain experience must include several years of experience in the US Health Care and Health Insurance background with knowledge on Medicare and Medicaid .
  2. Conduct Business process Analysis and identify critical issues Gaps for an established organizational process.
  3. Develop a roadmap for short and long-term work, manage prioritization, and monitor the work to meet objectives.
  4. Work with Subject matter experts and managers to design a cost-efficient process.
  5. Engage client to gather software requirements/business rules and ensure alignment with development teams.
  6. Draft and maintain business requirements and align them with functional and technical requirements.
  7. Translate stakeholder requirements into over 10 different tangible deliverables such as functional specifications, user cases, user stories, workflow/process diagrams, data flow/data model diagrams.
  8. Ability to support Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing including defect triaging exposure to ALM would be an advantage.
  9. Experience in handling claims related EDI transactions.
Desired Skillsets:
  1. Strong problem-solving ability is a must for this role. Dealing with a vast and complex set of problems that need to be analysed in order to arrive at actionable insights.
  2. 'Getting things done' attitude.
  3. Precise and to the point approach in the numbers quoted, in the workbooks created, in the mock-ups presented.
  4. Proficiency with all MS office tools like Excel/ Access/ PowerPoint and SQL . Advanced SQL skill is preferred.
  5. Strong desire to constantly learn and improve your knowledge of SQL/Excel, new tools and advanced technologies.
  6. Follow and understand the complete EDI landscape used by business application along with Good understanding of XML and ability to create XML files.
