Job description

Job Title : Resident Dame / Matron (A member of the pastoral team in a boarding house responsible for the health and welfare of the students in her care.)

We invite CVs for the post of Resident Dame (Mayo College, Ajmer Rajasthan) / Matron (Mayo College Girls' School, Ajmer Rajasthan). Preferred with Pastoral work experience in a Boarding School.

Job Summary: The role involves a combination of administrative, pastoral, and mentorship duties to foster a positive living and learning experience for the students within the boarding house, ensuring the holistic development and well-being of students under their care.

Required Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline (preferred in Psychology)

Additional Qualification: Degree / Diploma in Child Psychology.

Work Experience: This is an in-house post. Boarding School experience would be preferred.

Personal Traits Required

• Proficient in English language (both verbal and written).
• Computer Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to offer a high level of emotional support to students.
• Patient, flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and self-initiative.
• Ability to inculcate values and good habits in the students, helping to make them strong and upright individuals.
