Job description
Keeps records to maintain inventory control, cost containment and to assure proper stock levels. Managing the timely receipt of materialitems at nbsp;storesstock yard, ensuring proper storage, issuing and delivery system at nbsp;construction nbsp;site along with maintaining inventory through computer system. Taking physical inventory once a month to cross check with the monthly inventory report. Ensure indents are raised proper documentation is completed on a timely basis requisition of items; Responsible store keeping, documentation record keeping. Generate Materials Received Report on a timely basis. Input production data according to purchase order in computerized inventory system. Participate in physical inventories by counting stocks. To ensure recording of the necessary data in ledger and computer on time.
Requirements This role requires the individual to be physically and mentally strong enough to oversee the store keeping work at a construction site. The individual should be having strong organizational, interpersonal and skills, along with comprehensive technical knowledge of store keeping operations and ability to supervise construction crew. Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment to operate common office equipment Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent 2+ of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping
