Job Title : Junior Merchandiser
Location : Gokyo Outdoor Clothing & Gear, Malad West, Mumbai. (Only candidates from Mumbai Location will be chosen in the selection phase) Experience : 1+ years Job Type : Full-Time Role Salary : ₹2,40,000 annually CTC Description : As a Junior Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations in the merchandising department. Your responsibilities will include price negotiation, order confirmation, gathering information on buyers' requirements, and working within specified deadlines. You will be responsible for booking and procuring materials such as yarn, fabric, and trims, as well as preparing and executing Time and Action plans. Additionally, you will be involved in lab dip submission, obtaining approvals for prints, embroidery, trims, and bulk lots, and managing inventory levels. Key Responsibilities : Price negotiation & order confirmation. Gathering information on Buyers' requirements and working as per deadlines. Material (yarn, fabric, trims) booking and procurement. Preparing Time and Action plan and doing necessary follow-up for proper execution. Proceeding for lab dip submission & getting approval. Proceeding for all approvals: Print, embroidery, trims, as well as bulk lot. Keeping an eye on the inventory of fabric, trims, cartons, etc. Fabric approval: lot-wise fabric approval & getting shade range for the wash. Keeping records of meeting decisions and approvals. Giving schedule to buying house/buyer to conduct the inspection as well as production update. Clear Communication. Strong English speaking/writing capability. MS Excel proficiency. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (required). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & other Microsoft Office apps. Strong communication skills in Hindi and English. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Ability to grasp things quickly. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Previous experience in merchandising or a related field is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
