Job description

We are looking for a candidate for the position of Assistant Manager Finance to undertake and assist in the day-to-day accounting, month-end closing, financial reporting, audit, cost control and development of internal control policies and procedures.

Job Description:

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
Support month-end, and year-end close processes in co ordination with the units controllers
Preparation of monthly/Quarterly/Yearly financial statements and MIS reports
Should have exposure in handling the Statutory Audit and Tax Audit independently
Exposure in the preparation of financials under Ind AS is mandatory
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal control systems
Research technical accounting issues for better compliance
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Collaborate closely with the different units to understand expectations and deliverable timelines and ensure that deliverables are met on time
Develop the team to take ownership and work independently, and effectively manage timelines
Manage resources to assist with ad-hoc reports and new processes to support the management team
Should be highly proficient in managing the closing of books of accounts under tight deadlines
