Job Description Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in working on ITOM/Discovery using ServiceNow at least 4 to 5+ years. Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM and Discovery & CMDB configuration. Developing, installing, and troubleshooting bugs, fix defects, and support users of applications Advanced ServiceNow technical skill - UI Policies, UI Macros, UI Pages, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Business Rules, Performance Analytics, ACLs, Import Sets, Transform Maps and Update sets Demonstrating experience working with workflows in one or more key areas of the ServiceNow platform (e.g., ITSM, Portal, ITOM / Discovery) Develop workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications and automate and improve business processes Understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality solutions to our customers Assist in maintaining detailed documentation of application design Solving complex problems in a highly dynamic and agile environment Having a strong focus on code quality and reusability Estimating development effort for requirements. Drive process optimisation, efficiencies and productivity using automation Act as a mentor to support less experienced colleagues Monitoring that Mid Servers, Creating/ maintaining Discovery schedules. Managing Discovery schedules are discovering proper CIs (It should not create Orphan records, Duplicate Records, Incomplete CI records). Maintaining Discovery Dashboard. Debugging/troubleshooting all Authentication / Access Rights and IP related issues/ Notification issues and other issues with the help of different tracks, wherever requires. Raising Cases and working with vendor for the solution of these issues. Fixing duplicate records issues either by deleting the duplicate records or changing IRE etc. with the help of Asset team or CI / Owners. Upgrade and Test discovery as part of instance upgrade/migration/patching activities Install/configure MID servers Troubleshooting when Auto discovery is not updating/ discovering any CI. Checking Auto discovery check box / IRE. Troubleshooting discovery patterns/ Sensors etc. In case of CI is not discovered or other issue - Faulty Patterns / Incomplete CI information / Missing CI attributes through patterns / Reasons of Failing patterns etc. Qualifications A Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or related field. A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience with ServiceNow app development in ITSM, Portal or ITOM modules. 3 to 5 years of development experience with creating simple/complex customer-facing web or mobile applications is a plus. Service now Certified preferred, CSA, CAD Certified system administration, Certified Application Developer. Expertise level understanding of ServiceNow Platform & its capabilities are required. Understand the business needs and the needs to standardize processes and build this into the design. and being able to transform customer requirements into a high-level Prior experience of working with international teams Result-oriented and good communication skills .
