As a Staff Engineer for IDE Notebooks you will focus on building a modern IDE Notebooks experience for rapid interactive user experience and work closely with other engineers, PMs, and designers to build impactful applications that our customers will love.
What you'll do:
Work closely with customers and solutions engineers to understand pain points and issues
Research, architect and build bespoke solutions to solve our customers needs
Serve as a technical SME for our solutions team and review/approve proposed architectures
Investigate and correct escalated customer issues and bugs
Provide ongoing training to our solutions and support engineers
Provide a consistent feedback loop to product to help understand our customers challenges and solutions

Infrastructure and orchestration: Terraform, Docker
A wide array of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, ECR, ECS, Fargate
Monitoring and observability: Honeycomb, Wavefront, Sumologic, Bugsnag

What you bring:
Fluency in Java 8+.
Familiarity with SQL.
Familiarity with the current Notebooks competitive landscape
Comfortable working with data in an interactive Python environment
Product management experience with user-facing web applications
Familiarity with building high performance and scalable software in an internet scale distributed cloud environment.
Interest in creating well thought out infrastructure and APIs.
Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
