Job description
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases tailored for blockchain-based applications and smart contracts, ensuring the reliability and security of decentralized systems.
• Conduct rigorous functional testing, integration testing, and regression testing to validate the performance and functionality of blockchain systems, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
• Execute thorough security testing, vulnerability assessments, and code reviews to identify and address potential security risks and vulnerabilities inherent in blockchain technologies.
• Collaborate closely with blockchain developers, architects, and security experts to implement and enforce best practices and standards for blockchain quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks and tools specifically tailored for blockchain testing, optimizing efficiency and accuracy of testing processes.
• Document and communicate test results, findings, and recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making and risk mitigation strategies.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in blockchain technologies, security threats, and industry standards, continuously enhancing knowledge and expertise in blockchain quality assurance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record in quality assurance or testing roles, with demonstrable experience in blockchain or cryptocurrency domains.
• Strong understanding of blockchain concepts, technologies, and protocols such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Hyperledger, with hands-on experience in blockchain testing.
• Proficiency in blockchain testing tools and frameworks, including but not limited to Truffle, Ganache, and Metamask, enabling effective validation of blockchain systems.
• Knowledge of cryptography, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (DApps), with a keen eye for identifying and mitigating security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders effectively.
Skills:
• Blockchain Testing: Expertise in designing and executing test strategies and test cases for blockchain-based systems, ensuring reliability and security.
• Security Testing: Proficient in assessing and mitigating security risks and vulnerabilities inherent in blockchain applications through rigorous testing methodologies.
• Test Automation: Skilled in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks tailored for blockchain testing, optimizing efficiency and accuracy.
Preferred:
• Certification in blockchain technology or security testing, validating expertise and commitment to excellence in blockchain quality assurance practices.
