Job Description



A role working for an established Managed Service Provider, providing remote support in the finance industry has become available. Initially making up a team of 4, this role will be working on a dedicated customer account in a secure working environment. The role will be crucial in the efficient delivery of Level 1 support services and will conduct the following responsibilities:

· Customer communication

· Efficient ticket management within both individual and team queues

· Incident management

· Ticket ownership through the escalation process

· Liaising with other resolving groups and 3rd parties for detailed investigation

· Level 1 technical triage, troubleshooting and resolution implementation

· Following and creation of knowledge articles to support daily tasks

· Critical system monitoring

Representing Version 1 and embodying our Core Values, this role is key to both validating the customer’s trust in our relationship and ensuring we deliver a consistently high level of service. This will ensure success in obtaining wider opportunities available from the customer.

Working in the Version 1 Delivery team ultimately gives you the opportunity to shape your career. You’ll benefit from a career plan outlined by your line manager, with clear objectives tracked quarterly to ensure both you and your manager are happy with your performance and PDP regarding career progression.

Qualifications



Candidates must possess the following skills and experience:

· Excellent communication, both written and verbal

· Excellent attention to detail

· The ability to balance customer focus with technical aptitude whilst remaining professional at all times

· Ability to follow and maintain process documentation

· Ability to work to tight timescales and able to demonstrate prioritisation

· An awareness of how behaviour can influence commercial aspects

Full training will be provided but it would be advisable for candidates to possess knowledge in the following areas:

Technical

· Windows troubleshooting

· Knowledge of Anti-virus systems and interfaces

· Backup technologies including Symantec

· Network fundamentals

Supplementary Skills

· ITSM Ticketing Toolset

· ITIL 4 Foundation

· Flexible working approach
