Job description
FP&A for Ceded re Business is the centralized finance department for Planning, Analytics and reporting for reinsurance requirements of the Insurance & Reinsurance segment. This role majorly includes communicating with stakeholders on planning and forecast inputs and ensuring accuracy and timely inputs in Anaplan. It's critical to also ensure that plan results are in line with the Leadership team's expectations. He/ She would also be involved in multiple variance analysis and reporting requirements. The candidate should have excellent Excel, PowerPoint and communication skills with an analytical mindset.
DISCOVER your Opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include
- To lead ceded Re-insurance segment financial planning processes.
- To provide budget, forecasts, strategic plan and stress test scenarios inputs & outputs validation in Anaplan.
- To support the Reinsurance segment ceded Finance Business partner on key presentations.
- To constantly promote and implement process improvements and efficiencies to the planning tools (Anaplan) and validation tools.
- Responsibility for Ceded P&L reporting across regions and products.
- Working with the Re-insurance ceded FBP to coordinate and validate the final view of RE P&L.
- IGR creation in Anaplan & validation of the output.
- Oyster / Non-Oyster input & reconciliation.
- Support planning process for all reinsurance-related cessions (Group covers, ILS, Local covers, XOLs).
- Maintain mappings/hierarchies/structures in Anaplan.
- Enhance & validate the calculations in the Anaplan tool.
- Focal point for Fusion project changes related to Ceded.
- Stress test and/or Alternative Scenarios processing.

Required Skills And Abilities - CA/ICWA with relevant years of experience post qualification or MBA Finance (Full-time) from a highly reputed university with relevant years of experience post qualification.
- Effective analytical mindset, structured work approach and high levels of attention to detail.
- Effective IT skills (MS Excel, MS Access).
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze and manipulate huge volumes of financial and operational data.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines.
Desired Skills And Abilities - Ability to work resiliently in a fast-paced multi-cultural environment.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills and A person from (Re) Insurance Industry would be preferred.
- Demonstrate a high degree of interest in technological progress.
- Knowledge of Anaplan, HFM, QlikView, and Anaplan will be of added advantage.
