Job Descriptions
As a Concept Artist at Light & Wonder, you will play a crucial role in the creation and development of visual concepts for our Slot gaming projects. You will work closely with the hi-performance team to bring innovative and visually stunning ideas to life.
Your Roles & Responsibilities:
Conceptualization:
Generate visually compelling concepts for characters, environments, symbols, props, and game assets
that align with the project's vision and objectives.
Digital Artistry: Create high-quality digital artwork.
using industry-standard software and tools, showcasing a deep understanding of art Principles and
fundamentals, including composition, color theory, and perspective.
Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the gaming development team, including game designers, Media & technical Artist, 3D artists, and animators, to ensure seamless integration of your concepts into the final game.
Iterative Design:
Be open to feedback and iterate on your concepts as needed to refine and improve the visual aspects of the game in quick turnaround.
Research and Inspiration:
Stay up to date with industry trends, reference materials, and emerging art techniques to continually enhance the quality of your work.
Documentation:
Maintain organized documentation of your concept art, including style guides, design documents, asset specifications and File management archives.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Concept Artist in the gaming industry or related field.Strong portfolio showcasing a range of concept art pieces, including characters, environments, and props objects as symbols.
Proficiency in digital art software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
Excellent understanding of the principle of art fundamentals and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a high performance and team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey visual ideas and concepts.
Knowledge of gaming trends, genres, and platforms is a plus.
