Responsibilities
Create high-quality matte paintings and illustrations that match the project's aesthetic and storytelling needs. Collaborate with the art director, concept artists, and designers to understand and interpret the artistic vision. Implement changes and iterations based on feedback from art directors and lead artists. Maintain a balance between artistic aspects and technical constraints in the artwork. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of experience in matte painting and illustration in a production environment. Proficiency in industry-standard software like Photoshop, Illustrator. Strong understanding of color theory, lighting, perspective, and composition. Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills Experience in the gaming or film industry is a plus.
