Senior Software Engineer About The Role In this opportunity as Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Implement and manage configuration management tools.
- Foster collaboration between development and operations teams.
- Work closely with developers to understand application requirements and ensure smooth deployment.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code to automate provisioning and configuration.
- Utilize tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef for infrastructure automation.
- Monitoring and Logging:
- Set up and maintain monitoring tools to detect and respond to system and application issues.
- Implement and manage logging solutions for tracking and troubleshooting.
- Security:
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and monitor security measures in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and practices.
About You You're a fit for the role of Senior Software Engineer if your background includes:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.
- Version Control:
- Manage version control systems (e.g., Git) and ensure proper branching and merging strategies.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously assess and improve existing processes and systems.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
