Senior Software Engineer

About The Role

In this opportunity as Senior Software Engineer, you will:

  • Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Implement and manage configuration management tools.
  • Foster collaboration between development and operations teams.
  • Work closely with developers to understand application requirements and ensure smooth deployment.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code to automate provisioning and configuration.
  • Utilize tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef for infrastructure automation.
  • Monitoring and Logging:
  • Set up and maintain monitoring tools to detect and respond to system and application issues.
  • Implement and manage logging solutions for tracking and troubleshooting.
  • Security:
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement and monitor security measures in the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and practices.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Senior Software Engineer if your background includes:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.
  • Version Control:
  • Manage version control systems (e.g., Git) and ensure proper branching and merging strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Continuously assess and improve existing processes and systems.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
