Job description
The Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for the business development into key accounts across Western Southern region of India
Focusing on the Host cell protein and other process related impurity detection and analytics, HPLC and UHPLC columns for Glycan analysis, Polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies, ELISA kits, Proteins and Cell culture Media range of products for the Biopharmaceutical Industry
The Technical Sales Specialist will need to establish and maintain key opinion leader relationships by providing high level technical and commercial consultation
Responsibility/Deliverables:
Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for planning and implementing meetings with possible clients and support achieving target sales goals.
Task Activities:
Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders across India. Technical sales of the analytical products used in process development and quality control in the Biopharma sector. This will also include customer and sales related travel at approximately 30-40% of time.
Provide Technical support, scientific and commercial consultation
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the region assigned.
Maintain awareness of and report life science market trends
Experience:
2-4 Yrs. in sale /Technical sales of the analytical products used in process development and quality control in the Biopharma sector.
Qualification:
MSc. /BSc. In Molecular Biology /Biotech/Biology/Biochem.
