Note: Mainframe development experience is a must for this role.
We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager with a strong background in Mainframe Technologies to join our dynamic team in Mumbai or Bengaluru. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, driving client engagement, overseeing delivery governance, and managing a team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities: Delivery Management:
- Successfully deliver all projects for the account, achieving revenue and direct margin targets.
- Create and articulate the delivery agenda for the client through continuous engagement with internal and client stakeholders.
Delivery Governance: - Engage with client stakeholders for account/project status discussions and share solutions, automation efficiencies, and best practices.
- Identify areas of improvement/change, new growth areas, and contribute to additional revenue generation.
Client Centricity: - Engage with client stakeholders to understand, set, and manage expectations.
- Drive monthly and SteerCo meetings to showcase delivery metrics, value addition, and innovation benefits.
People Management: - Implement account-level skill development and competency building through upskilling and cross-skilling of resources.
- Plan and fulfill resource requirements, including skills, numbers, and roles, and rotation planning.
Competency Development: - Contribute to presales activities and capability building.
- Mentor, coach, and train team members, fostering a culture of innovation.
- Build technical capabilities through frameworks and reusable components.
Technical Competencies: - In-depth understanding of mainframe technologies, including IMS, TSO, DB2 tables, and JCL.
- Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, DB2 Stored procedures, SORT, SPUFI, QMF, IBM Scripting, MQ series.
Additional Skills: - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PDF, etc.
- Ability to train and explain system functionalities to employees at all levels.
- Proactive approach in identifying and addressing issues in a timely manner.
Shift Requirement: - Willingness to work in development and support projects in shifts (2 to 8 PM IST).
