Role:
As a Front Desk Receptionist at Tarzan Fitness, you will be the first point of contact for our members and visitors. Your friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for everyone who enters our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests with a warm and welcoming attitude, providing exceptional customer service.
- Answer incoming calls, address inquiries, and provide accurate information about our services, classes, and membership packages.
- Assist with member check-ins, new member sign-ups, and renewals.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring it reflects the professionalism of Tarzan Fitness.
- Schedule appointments for fitness consultations, personal training sessions, and other services.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately and securely.
- Assist in coordinating and promoting gym events, workshops, and challenges.
- Keep track of membership records, update databases, and ensure accurate member profiles.
- Address member feedback and concerns promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive member experience.
Preferred candidate profile :
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
- Prior experience in a customer service or receptionist role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office and scheduling applications.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate basic office equipment.
