Main function of the job:
Wells Fargo provides middle market, large corporate and financial institution customers with a range of international solutions, including treasury management, credit, payments, financing, foreign exchange, and trade services. Wells Fargo operates from 42 countries and territories outside of the U.S., including subsidiaries and branches in Ireland, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Canada, and France.
The International Controller team is responsible for a range of regulatory, financial, and management reporting requirements aligned to legal entities based outside the United States.Working within the International Controllers Team, this role supports the development & maintenance of a robust control environment across both the international region as part of a group of regional control leads, and also more directly in the Chennai location.
Responsibilities include issue management support and guidance, oversight of local control activity including quality assurance testing where necessary, assessment and communication of risks, and provision of control related advice and guidance to International Controller team members.
