Job description
- Lead squads for end to end engineering delivery (architecture, design, development and Quality Assurance and maintenance/enhancement) of digital engagement platforms for sales, service and claims. Delivery would be done for all insurance distribution channels like direct to consumer, agency, banks, brokers etc.
- Technology Leadership: Reporting to the Group CTO to provide strategic leadership and technical expertise to drive innovation and align technology initiatives with business goals - Software Architecture: Lead the transformation of software architecture, ensuring it's scalable, secure, and able to meet the needs of the customer and incorporate new AI driven tools - Product Enhancement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, build and enhance the digital product offerings. Experience in designing and implementing scalable tech platforms in General Insurance Company or Insurtechs, especially who are challengers, is preferred -Technical Talent Development: Build and lead a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or any engineering discipline with experience in leading and managing projects/programs and leading multi-country, multi-cultural would be preferred
- Minimum of 12 years or more of experience in software development in MEAN, MERN tech stacks, rest or graphQL based microservices, postgre/Mongo database, AWS and working with core Insurance middle office and core platforms - Work experience with General or Life Insurance companies, Insurtechs, brokers would be needed to have the required domain skills - Familiar with cloud, microservices, containerization and other related technologies - Experience in building, leading, and mentoring engineering teams - Entrepreneurial spirit, with a track record of innovating and executing new ideasHead the Engineering center for a start-up general Insurance company in with a mission to transform the way Insurance companies offer their products and services to our Customers and Distribution partners
