About the Role
Position Title: Functional Business Analyst
Corporate Title: Analyst/Senior Analyst
Location: Bengaluru/ Mumbai
Job Profile
Purpose of the Role:
To play a key role in enhancement of Core Banking System (CBS) and Downstream Reporting from business perspective
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business processes and reporting requirement, document the requirement and co-ordinate with the development team
- Lead the discussion of gap analysisincluding documentation like creation of BRD, FSD , BRFSD etc
- Trouble shootingBAU system issues,recording and trackingin JIRA /Confluence tools - liaison with HO and Technical teams for timely closure
- Ensure solid partnerships across branches and maintain relationships with project stakeholders
- Collaborate and co-ordinate with the TechnicalBA and global partners includingvendor
- Develop and executeUser Acceptance Test and Migration Plans
- Work closelywith Operations team, CB team and vendorsand ensure the timelines are met without any delays/issues.
- Understand the current process/Product flow and bring solutions for manual processsteps, either via Automation via CB or other modes which can be tied up to the process overall.
- Identify issues /risks in terms of current processflow and bring right mitigantto protect banks overall Risk parameters.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders ensuringsolutions and prioritizing initiatives to meet business needs and requirements.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timelycompletion of projects.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for T24 systemconfiguration and customization.
- Work closely with the development and technical teams to ensuresuccessful system implementations and integrations.
- Provide expertise in T24 modules,configurations, and functionality to support projectrequirements.
- Maintain project relateddata repository and prepare businessprocess documentation.
- Provide walkthrough and training to business users as required.
Expertise / knowledge required
- 2-6 years of relevant working experience in bank/GCC in Operations - Payments, Trade finance, Deposits, Loans, Treasury, Accounting
- Experience of business requirement creation, analyzing and publishing the requirements as per requirements.
- Basic understanding of CBS productsand Regulatory and Internal Reporting (Loans, Treasury, Deposits, Funds Transfer, Export/ Import, Accounting/ Information, Common Function)
- Strong organizational, oral,and written communication skills required
- Working knowledge on project tools like JIRA,Confluence, MS Project,Visio etc
- Experience of CBS implementation project, especially T24 AA/TPH/MD/LD modules and T24 Analytics is preferred
Requirements:
- University graduate in business or related field
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Advanced technical, documentation, fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
